A supportive approach in depression, OCD and addiction
TMS is a non-invasive procedure that sends short magnetic pulses to brain regions involved in thought, emotion and behaviour. It is used clinically as a supportive approach in major depression where standard treatment has not helped enough, as an adjunct to existing treatment in adult OCD, and as a supportive method in psychoactive substance use disorder. No anaesthesia or surgery; daily activities resume right after the session.
