Success story

Cybathlon 2016: gold in the BCI race

The Cybathlon took place at ETH Zurich on 8 October 2016. Pilot Numa Poujouly of EPFL used his brain activity to control an avatar and won gold in the BCI Race; in BrainRunners, the game built for the race, his EEG amplifier was a g.USBamp Research.

Simultaneous recording

EEG with fNIRS, TMS and tDCS

With g.SENSOR fNIRS, 8 fNIRS sensors join the EEG recording at the same time. During tDCS and TMS, the integrated offline artefact-removal algorithm in g.BSanalyze reliably removes discharge artefacts from the stimulation within a few milliseconds.
